How do I care for my stained glass piece?
The glass can be buffed with a soft cloth to take off any marks at any point.
The solder lines are unlikely to need any polishing for a number of years. However, if the solder does need a bit of extra shine, use a non-abrasive wax (to avoid removing any black or copper patina from the solder). I use pure carnauba wax, wipe it on, leave it for 5 minutes, then buff with a soft cloth. Any excess wax in the corners can be gently picked out with a cocktail stick.
Doesn’t stained glass include lead?
The narrow solder lines contain 40% lead, so ensure you wash your hands after time handling stained glass to be careful.

What is the best way to display my glass?
Always hang pieces from secure fixings. Suction cups are not recommended as they can fail. I hang smaller pieces from window openers, bookshelf scrolls, cupboard handles, and anywhere I can. Larger pieces will obviously need more permanent hooks to keep them safe.
For stems, I use heavy vintage glass jars and bottles, beautiful hand thrown ceramic bud vases (mine are from Bee Creative), or thrifted vases weighted with dry rice or decorative sand.
